As a recruiter, it’s important to make sure the candidates you’re sprucing and interviewing have a great experience. It’s not just a reflection on the company you are employed at, but it’s also a reflection of the client you’re sourcing for. First impressions and excellent communication skills are a must. You want to nurture the candidates and also be understanding. You wouldn’t reach out to people who don’t have the qualities or experience you’re looking for. It’s important to be honest, efficient, and hold your clients accountable as well. If a candidate happens to not work out, who’s to say they don’t have a colleague who will or a company who needs recruiting? Keeping the candidate first can go a long way.
